About the Item
Dunhill London Silver Rollagas Lighter: This wonderful vintage Silver plate Alfred Dunhill Lighter is called a Rollagas inscribed with the initials "PEG" along the side. It features the soft strike side sticker and thin profile made famous by Dunhill.
It is marked on the bottom: "Made in Switzerland / USA Pat. Nos. 2102106 others pending" "Dunhill London"
First introduced in 1927, Dunhill presented the world's first luxury lighter that could be held and operated in one hand. Then in 1956 the Dunhill Rollagas was launched. Now considered a design classic it is thought to be the world's first luxury butane gas lighter and is still a sought-after nearly 70 years later.
Measures: 2 1/2" tall, 7/8" wide and 1/2"deep.

The lighter has been assembled and carefully crafted in the shape of a ball in solid sterling silver with plain surfaces.
