Dutch silver large matchbox holder, dated 1924 A dutch silver Matchbox holder. The large matchbox slides into the silver holder and at the sides is an opening to strike the matches on. The silver has lined guilloche pattern and the holder is used and shows some traces of use The holder is hallmarked with the Dutch silver hallmark "Lion 2", The Year letter O for the Year 1924. The Minerva head with the Assayer's office letter and the makers mark is faded The measurement is 3,5 cm high, 11,3 cm wide and the depth is 7 cm Weight of only the silver holder is 104 grams
