About the Item
Elegant carved bald eagle on wood base pipe holder / stand / rest by Dunhill, circa 1950s. The eagle has amazing carved detail and I believe is made of wood (if not wood, it is some type of resin or possibly meerschaum - very hard to tell). The eagle is on a highly lacquered beautiful light wood base and makes an overall amazing presentation. The rest is in very good vintage condition and measures 10.5"W x 3.75"D x 4.25"H. It is signed "Dunhill and "Made in Italy" on the underside. Stunning piece is very rare and possibly one-of-a-kind! #2928.
