Rare English Sheffield wick trimmer with wick collection box, c. 1790

About the Item

Rare Sheffield wick trimmer fitted with a hall marked steel wick trimmer blade. The finger loops, wick box, and wax pick are decorated with scollop shell elements. The trimmer is raised on short posts at the finger loops and wax pick. English, circa 1790.
