Collection Steiff PomPom and Mohair Birds, Germany
A lovely collection of Steiff birds in different sizes, ages and fabrics. 13 pieces of Steiff birds in total with extra as accessoire a bird cage made of bamboo. 5 pieces birds has (3 of them) a yellow label and 2 of the birds has the Steiff iron button. 6 has no label or button.
1 bird with the iron feet, is from the period 1937-1943 rest is from the Mid-20th Century. There is the parot Lora (mohair), a mini flying gull, a dove/pigeon, 4 mini birds, (2 of the serie #6504,42), 4 some larger ones , 1 with iron legs and a sparrow (mohair). The bird cage has a door, which can be moved upwards. When it has to be hanged up, there need to place a pin or screw. it consists of 2 parts. The dimensions of the birds differ from 12 cm high to 1.5 cm. The bird cage is 35 cm high and 16 cm wide. The birds are not boxed
