Danish Modern Solid Teak Carved Lion Toy / Lint Brush, Bojesen Era
About the Item
Danish modern solid teak carved lion toy / lint brush by Laurids Lonborg, circa 1950s. This incredibly fun lion lint brush was originally designed by Lonborg in Denmark and produced during the 1950's. Lonborg's animal figurines sit among the work of Bojesen and Bolling as some of the premiere mid-century Danish wooden animals. Composed of luscious warm teak, this piece is in great vintage condition with the exception of a small repair of the wood on the right paw (please see pictures). The piece measures 3.5"D x 3"W x 7.25"H and is signed on the underside. Perfect for anyone collecting mid-century critters, this lovely little lion would make an excellent addition to any MCM home! #1784.
