About the Item
Original and fun figure of Mickey Mouse and the Phantom Blot. Both pieces are made of resin, on a metal base. This is a limited and numbered edition, made in 2010 by the French firm Leblon Delienne. This figure alludes to the first appearance of the Phantom Blot, one of the villains in the beloved Mickey Mouse comic. Mickey is depicted with his characteristic red buttoned pants, his iconic yellow shoes and a terrified expression on his face, fleeing from the ghost. He describes a certainly unnatural pose, a product of the fear that the presence of the ghost generates in him. As for the Ink Ghost, he appears as a large black mass that raises its arms, lunges towards Mickey and offers a menacing look.
Leblon Delienne is a French brand with more than 40 years of experience whose sculpture workshop is described as a vibrant reflection of pop culture. Its creations are distinguished by a remarkable attention to detail and the quality of its finishes. The figures of this firm are created with traditional techniques and in an artisanal way, guaranteeing exceptional quality. The manufacturing process begins with the selection of the model from a series of clay prototypes. After its selection, the mold is created, later filled with resin that is left to dry. Once the resin has dried, the mould is removed and the resin is sanded to prepare the surface for the application of the polychrome with an airbrush.
Disney logo engraved on one of Mickey's feet and on the back of the ghost. Delivered in its original box and with a certificate of authenticity. A true collector's item and an exceptional gift for any Disney lover.
