About the Item
This charming and rare French doll's bedroom playhouse, dating from around 1900, is a delightful example of antique bamboo, rattan, and wicker craftsmanship. Featuring a set of miniature furniture that includes a bed, table, armchair, and chaise longue, this beautiful playhouse embodies the timeless elegance of turn-of-the-century design.
The set is in excellent condition for its age, with some parts still protected by the original paper when acquired. The mattress and bolster are filled with straw and covered in delicate pink Toile de Jouy fabric adorned with roses. While the fabric is in relatively good condition, it shows minor stains, visible in the photos.
