A pretty kokeshi with colorful decorations, a lovely haircut detail and a perfect size.
Its master is still working today.

The kokeshi in few words ?
Handmade in Japan, these dolls come from the Tohoku region, which has lots of natural hot springs and where they were sold as souvenirs to the tourists.
They come in a variety of shapes, colors, sizes and decorations, from the most traditional one to the most creative one, and the craftsmen who make them are awarded (among which the coveted Prime Minister Award) for the most beautiful kokeshi of the year.
