About the Item
Rare and unique inflatable rubber doll designed by the queen of toys in Czechoslovakia - Libuse Niklova. Niklova was a leading toy designer in Czechoslovakia, working for Fatra company. Her work has become piece of art in the modern days. The toys she created were combining use of plastic with rare forms which were simple, yet elegant and pleasing to any designer´s eye. She was inspired by work of Eames and Girard. "Unlike foreign products which are mostly decorated without regard to the form, my designs aspire to find a single harmony between the form and the decoration."
This toy portraits a girl. Original condition, never used as a toy, only as a showpiece. Great piece in excellent condition. Original label visible next to the valve.
