1930s Pair of French Ceramic Pink Elephant Bookends
About the Item
Here is a pair of wonderful pink elephant bookends. Although not marked, we are quite certain they are French and from the 1930s. The dark pink glaze has a crackle effect and there are no chips, cracks or evident repairs. These bookends came from the estate of a high-profile New York collector and dealer. These would add a touch of whimsy to a library or any room in the house. Can be used as bookends, paperweights or alone as sculptures.
