Art Deco Bronze Fancy Goldfish Bookends By Georges Raoul Garreau French 1920's

About the Item

A pair of Art Deco patinated bronze long-tailed fancy goldfish bookends by Georges-Raoul Garreau, on marble bases. Each signed 'G. GARREAU'. French - Circa 1925. The bronze showing some light wear to the patina. The marble bases have a few small chips to one, the other has nibbles. Please refer to the photographs. The bolts to the bases are secure. There is a metal pin holding the other side of each fish tail to the base, these have some minimal movement, but it does not affect their use in any way. The books are not included.
