This is an antique travel trunk. An English, pine and zinc lined carriage chest dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.
A substantial, appealing period chest with tricolor, industrial chic
Displays a desirable aged patina and light distress to the white-wash finish
White-wash juxtaposed against the black sides and natural, naked plinth
Generous interior lined with zinc, perfect for expeditions
Braced lid opens wide and rests upon a pair of long hinges
Front features a brass lined lock, key absent
Sides dressed with drop handles for ease of carriage
Corners reinforced with iron straps for added strength
Standing upon a deep, continuous plinth base
