About the Item
A Burmese ladies' teak make up trunk, inlaid with brass. The words "Mandalay Box" are inlaid on one side of the front of the trunk, below the brass fittings. The lid is wonderfully decorated and has a mirror on the inside. There is a top layer tray divided into compartments for smaller objects, and storage space beneath that.
