About the Item

Remarkable example of early 20th century, this coat rack features a beautiful primitive blackened iron finish. The skilled metalwork and angular construction inspires a medieval design appearance. The top of the stand displays eight independent hooks, each of which has three of their own hooks. This functional piece of furniture is perfect for a foyer or entryway of a home. This blackened iron coat rack is a rare piece, and is sure to elevate any space. Piece is overall in excellent vintage condition, with minor surface rusting in some areas and slight bends and misalignments in the coat rack's frame. This coat and hat rack measures 22 1/2W x 22 1/2”D x 69 3/8”H and likely dates to the early 20th century in France.
