French Vintage Train Rack for Hats & Coats
About the Item
This French, vintage 20th century (circa 1920) train rack would be the perfect shelf for an entryway, mudroom, or even a kitchen. Patinated brass makes for attractive and durable construction of the frame that is accented with beautiful scrollwork and Edwardian, geometric elements. Four square rods on the top form a kind of shelf, while a square rail on the bottom rung is fitted with hooks that slide to adjust their spacing–maximzing the storage without taking much space–just like it did in the tight quarters of a train car.
