Mid Century Chrome And Leatherette Hanger Wall By Dřevokov, Czechoslovakia, 1957

About the Item

A beautifully preserved vintage hanger wall designed and produced by Dřevokov in Czechoslovakia, 1957, original label present. This functional and striking piece exemplifies mid-century design with its clean lines and thoughtful use of materials. Set within a solid wooden frame, the wall features the original deep blue leatherette backing—both visually bold and highly practical—against which the chrome steel coat rack and umbrella holder are mounted. The chrome-plated hanger measures 30 cm deep, 55 cm wide, and 15 cm high, and remains in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The umbrella holder, also finished in chrome, offers additional utility and can be repurposed for various storage needs. The surface is easy to clean, making the piece not only stylish but highly functional for everyday use. Retaining all original components and free from damage or tears, this piece is ready to enhance any modern or eclectic interior.
