About the Item

This antique brass and metal glove holder or stand is unsigned, but presumed to originate from England and date to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The stand is composed of brass and brass patinated metal and has a cast decorative handle at the top and three clips cast as figural ladies antique gloves. The stand could be adapted for notes, mail or photos or used for its intended purpose to hold three pairs of gloves. The stand is bolted to a white marble or quartz base.
