About the Item
Place your Bible or music book on this antique, double-side stand from France. Crafted, circa 1880, and built in two pieces, the Gothic "Lutrin" (French for lectern) stands on three curved legs, over a tall central stem decorated with twisted and turned decor; the lectern features wonderful forged iron work including a Fleur-de-Lys at the pediment and scroll motifs on both sides of the double-side book holder. The traditional Old World music stand is in excellent and adorns a rich black patinated finish with some gilt accents.
