Early 20th Century French Hand Forged Iron Double Sided Music Stand

About the Item

Originally used in a church, this impressive French hand-forged iron music stand is designed so that a musician can stand on each side. Candleholders extend on the left and right to light sheet music and a central fleur-de-lys appoints the top. The inclined surfaces where one lays sheet music is detailed with intricate scrolling as well as a central fleur de lys. The top rests on a scrolled iron tripod base with a quatrefoil motif in the center of the pilar. A stunning artissn-made piece for a music room.
