Original Austrian movie poster.
This beautiful poster was designed by Bernd Steiner (1884-1933)
This is only the second example of this poster to have surfaced to-date. The other copy forms part of the German film archives, and is pictured in the book UFA Film Posters 1918-1943, Berlin: Deutsche Kinamathek, 1998, p. 41
This 1920 romance film was directed by the great Ernst Lubitsch, and was his final film as an actor. A year later he sailed to America to start his Hollywood career.
