In my opinion English. Charles II
The entire surface worked by hand in coloured silks and metallic threads.
Depicting animals , insects and flowers.
Truly amazing detail, the longer you look at it the more you discover.
Considering this panel is approx four hundred years old is in remarkably good condition, with gentle signs of wear. The colours are original naturally dyed and mostly un faded
Professionally re lined and ready to hang
A very rare museum worthy panel. Would make a worthy addition to any advanced collection
