19th C. Painted "Coat of Arms" Velvet Pillow
About the Item
This stately and richly detailed pillow features a regal painted velvet panel showcasing a heraldic crest motif in soft metallic and muted tones. The crest, framed by intricate foliage and topped with a plumed helm, evokes old-world elegance and sophistication, reminiscent of aristocratic European textiles.
Surrounding the central velvet panel is a lustrous silk border in a warm golden-bronze hue, which continues around to the back of the pillow in the same luxurious silk fabric. The outer edge is adorned with a lavish multicolor tassel fringe in tones of green, blue, and gold, adding texture and a playful touch to its refined design. The pillow is filled with a down insert, giving it a plush and inviting feel. Ideal as a statement piece in traditional, vintage, or eclectic interiors.
