Set of four ornate antique French wedding cushions.
Three of them are burgundy red and one of them is Royal purple. These opulent antique French pillows were designed to display fine wedding headdresses like wax crowns and tiara's on, made for the very finest of families. Since then some of them were used to put hatpins in.
Wonderful faded grandeur confection cushions consisting of firm square silk velvet over a hard horse hair stuffing. Embellished with gold and gilded metallic passementerie and tassels.
These four lovelies could make a beautiful boudoir eye catcher set for jewelry or other little precious novelties.
