This hand-crafted pillow was designed by a local Chicago artist and textile historian who lovingly repurposes the vintage fabrics, garments and embroidery fragments she collects during her travels. This down-filled lumbar pillow features a panel of vintage Japanese red silk, subtly woven with bands of alternating floral motifs. The vintage silk is arranged as a broad, horizontal stripe and backed with dark cotton for a bold color contrast.
