About the Item
These hand-crafted pillows were designed by a local Chicago artist and textile historian who lovingly repurposes the vintage fabrics, garments and embroidery fragments she collects during her travels. Each elegant, down-filled pillow is sewn of metallic silk and features a panel of 18th century Chinese embroidered silk trim. Hand-stitched onto black silk, the embroidery has a repeating pattern of flower blossoms and trailing vines, and has been arranged in layers to form a continuous textile.
