This cushion is a one-of-a-kind and part of a sustainability project. It has been created from an up-cycled, recycled luxury fabric, used with the intentions of promoting a more eco-friendly environment by using already existing materials. We both celebrate and cherish the past and take care with rare and precious vintage and antique materials. Through layers of carefully added backing the delicate fabric has been fortified for longevity and thus preserved. Luxury pillow created from exquisite and rare vintage Irish Linen by Irish designer Katie Larmour. Made from quality vintage, pure, 100% Irish Linen made from the flax plant, from an unused roll. Highly textured, grainy and sumptuous to touch. Each cushion is handmade in Ireland. Lined in organic cotton, and finished with a concealed zip. Recommended 20x20" feather filler insert for plumpness. Backed in new natural undyed Irish linen on the reverse. Irish Linen is highly regarded worldwide, known since the turn-of-the-century as ‘white gold’ and the ultimate ‘aristocrat of textiles’.
