1850s Anglo Indian Oak Bench with Barley Twist Base and New Upholstery

$5,700

About

An Anglo-Indian oak bench from the mid-19th century with barley twist base and new upholstery. Born during the mid-19th century, this exquisite oak bench features a rectangular seat newly recovered with a simple muslin fabric. It is the base however that attracts our attention, with its six barley legs connected to one another through stretchers of similar style, along with its dark patina. With its graceful lines, this Anglo-Indian oak bench circa 1850 will bring a touch of elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
