French Turn of the Century Louis XVI st. Giltwood bench
About the Item
An elegant and high quality French Turn of the Century Louis XVI st. Giltwood bench. This wonderful bench is raised by Giltwood tapered cylindrical legs with spiral fluting leading to rosette blocks at the four corners of the frieze. The frieze displays a large rope twist and beaded border supporting the cushion on all sides. The cushion has been reupholstered with a tasteful leopard print fabric. All original gilding throughout.
