Italian Gilded Wood and Fabric Bench or Footstool by Pierre Frey
Beautiful mid-century Italian bench or seat, circa 1970, in Italian Baroque style.
Galvanized legs in carved, polychrome, and gilt wood that end in snail-shaped feet.
Trimmed side panels in polychrome and gilt carved wood.
Newly upholstered in an exquisite velvet fabric with geometric motifs from the latest collection by the prestigious French house Pierre Frey.
A sophisticated and highly versatile piece in its use and decoration, it can be used as a stool to accompany a vanity or dresser, to complete a seating area, in a bathroom, or in a dressing room.
