About the Item

This antique small bench was crafted in the Meiji Era (1868–1912). The seat is made of chestnut wood, offering a sturdy texture and gentle natural grain. The legs are uniquely designed, utilizing the natural form of tree branches, which gives the bench a rustic yet warm and inviting appearance. Despite its compact size, it makes a strong visual statement and serves as an accent piece wherever it is placed. It can be used in an entryway, a corner of the living room, or as a display stand. The beautiful balance between natural materials and handcrafted details continues to radiate charm even after many years. Minor signs of age, such as small scratches and scuffs, contribute to its character, reflecting the story of this piece as it has aged over time. As an antique piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. Cleaned and disinfected with non-toxic solution. We have conducted a meticulous check for any broken or damaged areas, and the result is absolutely problem-free. It is in excellent condition.
