Our Stock # 18.7622 This is a large vintage bench. A Scandinavian, pitch pine three seat bench with rustic taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Striking arched rest and of appealing presentation Displays a desirable aged patina throughout Pitch pine stocks show fine grain interest and light caramel hues Cheerfully upholstered with genuine hessian coffee sacks Comfortably seats three with generous depth and width between each arm Cast iron stud detail adorns the distinctive back rest Elegant arms rise gently to a scrolled knuckle Stands upon a quartet of square section legs, united front to rear with stretchers This is an attractive vintage bench, offering fine proportion and aesthetic appeal. Ready to be enjoyed as is, or ripe for re-covering to individual taste. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
