This bed exhibits clean, coherent lines with angles reminiscent of the mid century era, but brought into a contemporary and modern design. The details include exposed angled bridle joints and feet that are subtle, yet instantly eye-catching. The entire bed is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery (super strong) and is finished with a hand rubbed oil/wax to keep a close to wood feel but also protect from a lifetime of use. The drawers, if storage option is added, suspend from the bed and do not go all the way to the floor giving a much lighter and airy feel than traditional storage beds, while providing the same storage capacity. Our goal with this bed has been, first and foremost, to construct a piece of furniture that will last well over 50 years without issue. Quality of material and construction is our focus.
