About the Item
Complete your entryway or living room with this elegant pair of antique painted benches. Crafted in France, circa 1890 and built of beech wood, each bench stands on six tapered and fluted legs decorated with floral medallions rosettes at the shoulder. The seating features rounded corners over a carved apron embellished with geometric motifs throughout. The Louis XVI style seating has been re-upholstered with a grey toile fabric that will complement any home style from traditional to contemporary. The benches are in excellent condition and adorn a rich textured patinated finish in the grey and white palette; they could also be used in bedrooms at the foot of a bed. Can be sold separately.
