About the Item

Individually hand embroidered TRAZO - new look in top grain cowhide - tells a story of ancient Mexican tradition and craftsmanship. The embroidery pattern a design by artist Luis Rodrigo Medina, crafted using the maguey fiber on cowhide embroidery technique known as piteado, this stools and benches evoke the charrería horse-riding chair. In TRAZO, the present borrows traditions, materials and processes from the past and takes them impeccably to a whole new level. Material: Beech Wood, Natural Cowhide and Strands of Maguey Fiber Measurements: 107 cm x 42 cm x 42 cm. Notice: The imbued stretch marks may vary and over time, the color of this natural cowhide will darken. These variations are inherent to the raw material and they shall not be considered a flaw or a defect. We believe each mark or grain tells a story.
