About the Item

VINTAGE HARDWOOD BENCH Of primitive organic form utilising the natural shape of the ancient teak root. The seat and back are all one solid piece of timber which is gnarled and twisted in only the way that nature can produce. On four naively cut similarly naturally formed legs. Naturally worn and weathered providing a highly decorative silver colour and dry finish. It is in very good vintage condition, it is solid sturdy and usable. The joints in the legs all seem tight. It is naturally worn and weathered but this adds to its charm and aesthetic. Measuring 180cm wide x 68cm deep x 84cm high. The seat height is roughly 44cm.
