About the Item
A harder to find matched pair of C18th painted and upholstered bergeres in Louis XV taste.
Later painted in a mild grey blue and upholstered in a beige cotton, fabric with separate seat cushions depicting figures in costume of the period.
One is signed J C Briois a well renowned Parisian furniture ebeniste active in the C18th.
This charming and comfortable pair of bergeres are sure to be a lovely addition to an interior.
