About the Item
A 19th Century painted fauteuil with yellow damask fabric. The straight backed arm chair has two finials at the two top corners, padded armrests and carved and fluted frame and legs. The fabric is finished with nail head trim. The chair seat has a gentle curve to the front complementing the soft scroll end to the arm rests. A beautiful vintage piece.
