French Empire Egyptian Revival Solid Mahogany Bergere Chair with Bronze Sphinxs

About the Item

This extraordinary chair is a very rare Egyptian revival or French Empire bergere with solid bronze sphinx figures on each end of the chair and gorgeous bronze ormolu. The chair is in need of reupholstery, and the bronze can be left as-is or polished to a high polish. Measures 41.75 tall x 27 wide x 29 deep and seat height of 18 inches. The chair needs reupholstery and bronze can be highly polished.
