A pair of Louis XV white painted Bergeres en corbeille, circa 1755. Each with padded back and seat with channelled frame and foliate-carved rails and cresting, with padded arms, on cabriole legs, upholstered in yellow silk (‘Lampas Poussin’ by Lelièvre, Paris). Each bergere stamped by the famous Parisian menusier ‘I. Gourdin’ (Jean-Baptiste Gourdin 1723-1781).
