About the Item

An outstanding pair of circa 1890 English, Queen Anne Revival bergère armchairs, in a glorious light green paint, with applied gilt chinoiserie decoration throughout. All canework has been professionally updated and is in excellent order. The removable seat pads fully professionally re-padded and upholstered in a neutral 100% linen cloth. The wear and patina to the arms and back is fantastic, historic repair to the front foot of one chair, hardly visible. There has been an historic repair to one of the front legs, this is barely visible but it is mentioned so that it is clearly stated in the description.
