Pair Of Antique Carved And Caned French Provincial Fauteuils
About the Item
Louis XV style Grand Mere type fauteuils with low seats. Nicely carved walnut frames with darkened leaves and scrolled vine details on the caned backs. With curved arms and wide caned seats with carved shaped skirt rails with shell motifs. The leafy carved cabriole legs with curved X stretchers. Nice warm patina on the arms.
H. 35", W. 27", Depth 24", seat H. 14 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. One of the caned backs has a tear, expected time-worn crest rails and sporadic nicks to the frames with the Pair presenting well.
