Pair of Oversized Painted Louis XVI Arm Chairs
About the Item
A pair of oversized, painted French arm chairs circa 1940. The pair of Louis XVI chairs are painted off white, with square backs, reeded and carved frame, arms and tapered legs. Each leg meets the seat frame with a carved floral motif. Arm rests are upholstered along with seat back and seat. Nail head trims the upholstery all around. Chair upholstery shows stains in places.
