Burl Mahogany Sofa, Biedermeier Style - Late 19th Century

About the Item

This sofa is a magnificent example of burl mahogany furniture, inspired by the Biedermeier style. It is upholstered in a studded lime green fabric, adding a touch of color and texture to the ensemble. The wide armrests are engraved with a reworked palmette motif on the front, creating a unique and elegant aesthetic. The ottomans slide beneath these armrests, adding a practical and discreet feature. The sofa's backrest is particularly dynamic, creating a dynamic and attractive silhouette. The entire piece rests on small, sleek legs, completing the refined design of this piece.
