18th Century Swedish Transitional Chair

About the Item

Fine 18th century Swedish transitional Rococo & Gustavian chair with royal proportions, circa 1775 Stockholm, Sweden. The two styles merge together finely with the Rococo curvy back and typical tapered Gustavian legs, hard to beat, Condition is good with wear consistent with age and use. The chair has been dry scraped to reveal the original layers of color. Structurally good and sturdy. A detailed condition report is available on request.
