1950’s Original French Tolix T37 Outdoor Dining Chairs – Pair Yellow.
Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix was the creator and founder of perhaps the most iconic café chair of all time, the Tolix model A. This listing is for the T37, designed in 1937 this pair have an overpainted yellow finish with great character. The original paint has been overpainted many times. Our workshop cleans and rejuvenates each chair before it leaves our workshop. Seat Height 45cm.

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
