19th Century Adirondack folk art Stick chair

About the Item

This is a lovely Adirondack stick chair. Made from steam bent twigs and solid timber. The originality is fabulous and is perfectly useable but while not in use its sculptural construction makes it hugely decorative. The condition is very good and is a heavier chair than you expect. I have always loved these pieces of folk art and try and find them when I can but they are getting harder to find. Height 93cm Width 58cm Depth 58cm Depth of seat 35cm Height of seat 42cm
