About the Item

Chair with striped upholstery. With a backrest on three curved crossbars and gently arched arms, the seat upholstered in floral fabric reveals the use with comfort in mind, and underneath is the compartment where the crockery pot originally stood, typical of those pieces of furniture used before the popularisation of modern bathrooms. The front legs are turned, and the back legs are straight, which brings balance to the design. It's a functional and elegant piece of furniture, probably of European origin from the late 19th to early 20th century, which today is valued for both its historical and aesthetic value.
