About the Item
The ,Ovo Public Division proudly incorporates the 22 Line, designed by Paulo Mendes da Rocha—one of the most influential figures in Brazilian architecture and a Pritzker Prize laureate in 2006—alongside architects Marta Moreira and Milton Braga, cofounders of the renowned MMBB studio. Originally conceived for the iconic Sesc 24 de Maio community center in São Paulo, this collection of furniture is now produced on a larger scale, featuring a chair, low and high armchairs, sofa, tete-a-tete sofa, and side table. The 22 Line was envisioned as a modular furniture system, where the low armchair, high armchair, and tete-a-tete sofa share the same shell seat design. This approach optimizes production, streamlines maintenance, and offers exceptional versatility, ensuring the pieces adapt seamlessly to a variety of public or private environments.
