About the Item

Exceptional Post-Modern Teatro side chairs designed by architect Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda and manufactured by Italian furniture company Molteni. Beautiful timeless design in high quality solid cherry wood reupholstered in brand new Royal Blue Kvadrat Topas upholstery. Topas is a very high quality crepe, made with 100 % pure wool. We have 15 of these chairs available, reupholstery in other fabrics or leather is available upon request. Priced individually. Aldo Rossi (1931 - 1997), a leading exponent of the postmodern movement, was an Italian architect and designer who achieved international recognition in four distinct areas: architectural theory, drawing, design, and product design. The Teatro chair was originally designed by Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda in 1983 for the Carlo Felice theater in Genova.
